A brand built quietly, over fourteen years
Perla India is an intimate wear, sleepwear, and loungewear brand, founded in 2026 by Shrutii Jain and her husband Umesh Kapoor. Every piece is made in our own factory in Delhi — by the same people who have spent fourteen years producing apparel for some of India’s most recognised D2C brands. This is the brand we have always wanted to build.
How we got here
In 2012, Shrutii and Umesh founded Stitch and Style — an apparel manufacturing business supplying intimate wear, sleepwear, and ready-to-wear to leading D2C labels across India. For fourteen years they built the operation that made the clothes other brands sold. In 2026, they launched Perla India — the first label to carry their own name. Same factory. Same hands. Different label.
What we make
Perla India makes sleep shirts, babydolls and chemises, pyjamas and loungewear, shorts and tops, stockings, intimates, bikini sets, and home accessories — for women who want pieces that feel as good past the twentieth wash as they did in the first. Our patterns are built around the Indian woman’s body, refined over sixty fit sessions. Every fabric has been through a twenty-cycle wash test before it earns a place on this site.
Our promise
Made in our own facility. Every Perla piece is produced in the same Delhi factory where we have made apparel for India’s leading D2C brands since 2012. No third-party manufacturers. No re-badging.
Sized for the Indian woman’s body. Our size chart is the one we actually built our patterns from — not a flattering version of it.
Built to last past wash twenty. Tested under the same conditions you will wash it under. If a piece does not hold its shape, colour, structure, or softness past wash twenty, we replace it.
